This equipment is mainly including amt-lab colloidal mill with 2 kg hoper and circulation pipe line. In this system you have to manually prepare soap solution and bitumen in laboratory beakers then it will be proceed by laboratory colloidal mill and you get the small batch of the bitumen emulsion. In this system we are also gives the thermostatically electrical heating system up to 200°c so you can also test the pmbcrmb from same equipment and also heating system is prevent the equipment from chocking.

We are offering manual batch type pmb plant. Amt techno’s manual batch type pmbcrmb plant is small setup and very useful to customer who does not want to manufacture large verity of modified bitumen. Batch system is also contains premixing tank but capacity is 5,000 litters to 10,000 litters, premixing tank is equipped with agitator for premix. Bitumen is dosed in the premix tank by manually controlled pump and polymer or crumb rubber is manually dosed by manually controlled screw conveyor as per the recipe. Time of premixing tank blending is deepened as per the recipe. One manually controlled pump is connected at premixing tank outlet, after preparation of batch, pump is dose the bitumen and polymer or crumb rubber to hi shear homogenizer. Also there is one option to mount premixing tank on load cell for precise the dosing of bitumen and polymer or crumb rubber.

We are offering laboratory pilot plant : pilot plant is as same as the automatic batch type bitumen emulsion plant but this equipment have individual arrangement for produce pmbcrmb. In pilot plant there is two tanks of 25kg for water and bitumen. Water tank is made from corrosion resist material and equipped with agitator and thermostatically control electrical heating system. While bitumen tank also have the agitator and thermostatically control electric heating system. Bitumen and water soap line is including the pump and flow meters for very accurate dosing to the colloidal mill, bitumen line and colloidal mill also have thermostatically control electric heating cable for prevent the system form choking. After preparation of bitumen and water soap it will be proceed by colloidal mill, flow rate of water soap and bitumen are controlled by the pid controller.

Colloidal mill is work on the rotor and stator principal, rotor and stator is designed coaxially stages, which have radial slotted and a unique designed tooth was created. Design of rotor and stator, number of stages, number of tooth and material of rotor and stator are depending on the application data lick media viscosity, specific gravity, hardness, temperature, composition etc. Colloidal mill mainly designed as stator is fixed and rotor is rotating at hi speed (rpm), speed is also depending on the application. The media is entered in the system from the center of stator, because of high speed a centrifugal force is created and media is flow the outside from stages of rotor and stator where minimum gap between rotor and stator is ensure the proper mixing and homogenizes of liquid or solid.

Bitumen emulsion are widely use in road construction application as a binder, surface dressing, priming etc. Bitumen emulsion is oil in water type of emulsion where bitumen is dispersion in water. Amt techno’s bitumen emulsion plant is equipped with amt hi shear colloidal mill which is especially designed for ensure maximum dispersion of bitumen in water.
