Introduce gauge slowly into the tank till the lower end touches the tank bottom. Withdraw gauge immediately. Observe for sharp RED horizontal demarcation [on blue back -ground] representing petroleum level. Wipe off container cap after removing paste and replace cap securely. Wipe off paste on dip gauge after test.
