Indoanushka make MAINTENO is a Y / T - Type Strainer technically designed to specially enable cleaning of the strainer online without the necessity of any opening up and shutdown. Designed based on the principles & laws of fluid dynamics, it enables cleaning of the strainer online by forced flushing and natural backflushing by just an operation of a blow down valve & no instrumentation involved. Strainers traditionally available in the market, Y-type / T-type (basket strainers also in T type) are installed before equipments on supply lines of fluid, gas, steam, etc. and are used for removing (straining) solid particles from the fluid. All strainers gradually get choked due to the straining of the solid particles and collection of the same inside or before the screen All traditional strainers (Y-type, T-type including basket type) are then required to be isolated, opened and cleaned. Choking of these strainers, which is a repeatable and ongoing process, therefore involves shutdown, investment of time or investment in duplex strainers or losses by opening of bypasses. Stand Alone Features The unique feature of flow from inside to outside the screen cylinder helps to collect the solid particles. blowdown the collected solid particles with the help of the flow itself. Flushing and back flushing takes place in one stroke itself. The ratios of screening area to flow area is 2 to 4 which is as per international standards.
