J M Knitwear was established in 2008 in India by Mr. Dilip Patel & Mrs. Illa Patel on the back of 32 years of experience operating their successful flatbed knitwear design & manufacturing company Jack Masters in the U.K.
They have successfully supplied major British, American and Japanese brands, department stores and mail catalogue companies. Their UK company now boasts four B2C brands (Paul James, British Christmas Jumpers, Bobbl, J Masters Schoolwear) and retails globally via their e-commerce platforms from their UK headquarters.
J M Knitwear’s focus is to develop and market luxury sweaters and accessories, for men, women and children, using sustainable yarns, such as, Italian Merino, Scottish Cashmere, British Lambswool, Indian Cotton, and Linen. The company also manufactures using recycled cotton mix yarns, man-made synthetic yarns and blends with low MOQ’s and fast lead times.
Extended services include manufacturing Christmas Jumpers, Dog Sweaters, Throws, Cushion covers, Baby blankets, Homeware, Shawls, Ponchos, Wraps and other lifestyle products. The knitting plant comprises of 40 state-of-the-art Shima Seiki Japanese Knitting machines with 5, 7, 10, 12 & 14 gauge capabilities.
