The cast-iron construction and the hydraulic design contribute durability and high efficiency. The differences between the DWK and DPK pump ranges lie in the discharge arrangement and the installation type. The DWK is designed with a top discharge pipe and suction strainer, and is thus more suitable for temporary installation, whereas the DPK has a side discharge and a ring-stand or auto coupling (as accessories), and is suitable for permanent installations.

Special Features Ingenious hydraulic design ensures better efficiencies over a wide range of heads and discharges, varying between 60% and 140% of duty points. This means high energy saving even at a wide variation of water level in the bores. Easy interchangeability of any of our motor with any of our pump is possible because of standardization of the mounting dimensions. Maximum outside Diameter is 136mm only. Easy for installation even in crooked bores of 150mm size(6″). Water filling of motor is very simple. Special care is taken during stator winding, to withstand field conditions. Lowest vibration and wear due to intermittent bearings. This ensures longer life of the pump. Because of special cooling arrangement in the motor, the winding temperature raise is kept to the minimum, even at extreme voltage fluctuations. Unique design of bearings and thrust bearings increases the efficiency. Motor The Motor is squirrel cage induction motor, totally enclosed and water filled. It is designed for 300/440v on 3 phase 50 cycles AC supply with a speed of 2865RPM. Body is made of heavy duty steel pipe, treated with anti-corrosive lining to prevent rust formation. High quality water resistant polymer insulated wires are used for longer life. High tensile steel rotor shaft with good quality laminations, epoxy coated and baked for rust prevention. Thrust bearings are of special design and special lead-tin bronze & Teflon bearing bushes are used for high wear resistance. The winding and bearing bushes are cooled and lubricated by pure water, filled in the motor before installation. The motor is protected from well water, sand and foreign materials.
