Aluminium Alloy Conductor Steel Reinforced Conductors (AACSR) is a concentrically stranded conductor composed of one or more layers of 6201-T81 Aluminium Alloy (Aluminium-Magnesium-Silicon) wire stranded with a high-strength coated steel core. The core may be single wire or stranded depending on the size. The proportions of aluminium alloy and steel can be varied to obtain the relation between current carrying capacity and mechanical strength best suited to each application. Core wire for AACSR is available with Class A, B or C-galvanized; “aluminized” (AZ): or aluminium clad (AW) coating to provide protection from corrosion.Additional corrosion protection is available through the application of grease to the core or infusion of the complete cable with grease. AACSR Conductors have approx. 40% to 60% more strength than comparable standard ACSR with only 8 to 10% decrease in conductivity.

We put forth an unmatched range of Aluminum Alloy Conductor that is designed and developed using aluminum, magnesium and silicon alloy. These alloys have high electrical conductivity and enough magnesium silicide, which ensures improved mechanical properties of Aluminum Alloy Conductor after treatment. These conductors are acknowledged not only for corrosion resistance but also for improved electrical conductivity and better strength to weight ratio. it offers very high strength in comparison to AAC conductor. Our range offers excellent electrical characteristic and mechanical sag-tension characteristic.

    • We offer Aluminium Alloy Conductor. AAAC (All Aluminium Alloy Conductor) AAAC conductor is manufactured from all three- Aluminium, Magnesium, and Silicon- alloy of high electrical conductivity containing enough magnesium silicade giving it better mechanical properties. AAAC have better corrosion resistance and better strength to weight ratio, and improved electrical conductivity than ACSR Conductors on equal Diameter basis. AAAC is used as bare overhead conductor for power transmission and distribution lines on aerial circuits that require larger mechanical resistance than AAC. It is a concentrically stranded bare conductor which consists entirely of Aluminium alloy 6201-T81 wires. Also, it is available in both single and multi-layer constructions.

This conductor is made from aluminium-magnesium-silicon alloy of high electrical conductivity containing enough magnesium silicide to give it better mechanical properties after treatment. These conductors are generally made out of aluminium alloy 6201. AAAC CONDUCTOR has a better corrosion resistance and better strength to weight ratio and improved electrical conductivity than ACSR CONDUCTOR on equal diameter basis. AAC conductor is made from aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloy of high electrical conductivity containing magnesium (0.6-0.9%) & silicon (0.5-0.9%) to give it better mechanical properties after treatment. AAC conductors are generally made out of aluminum alloy 6201 (minimum conductivity is 54%). AAC conductor has a better corrosion resistance and better strength to weight ratio and improved electrical conductivity than ACSR conductor on equal diameter basis. Key Benefits: High tensile strength as compared to AAC conductor. Higher conductivity as compared to ACSR conductor. Better corrosion resistance than ACSR conductor. Physical contents of alluminium alloy : Density - 2.70 kgm/dm3 at 20°C Coefficient of Linear Expansion - 23 x 10-6 / °C Resistivity - 0.0326 Ohms mm2/m at 20°C Constant Mass Temperature Coefficient (a) - 0.00360/ °C Material - Heat treated Al. Mg. Si. Alloy
