It is less expensive material compared to alnico and rare earth magnets. It has low temperature than alnico magnet but greater than rare magnet. It is limited to simple shapes.   Applications: Magnetic separation, speakers, PA systems, dynamos, toys and novelties   Magnetizing and Handling: Ferrite magnets are brittle and should be carefully handled as it can chip or break if dropped on a hard surface.
