Side Mounted Level Switch are designed for use in tanks and vessels for indicating or controlling the level of a liquid. They work well as high or low level controls. Its operating princi-pal is magnetic & wetted part construction in SS. When the float magnet moves close to the switch stem, the float magnet repels the switch magnet which either opens or closes the Electrical circuit. The contact can be used to operate a pump or any device connected in series to it. These switches can either be supplied in weather proof cast aluminium switch housing. It is an economical, maintenance free and a very reliable device used for high, low or intermediate point level switching. It is ideal for tanks with inaccessible tops or bottoms and where insertion depths of top mounted models are exceeded. The construction is compact & rugged with a free moving pivoted float assembly. The Switch assembly is mounted in a non-magnetic material to achieve undisturbed magnetic flux. It employs dual magnets, one linked with the float arm and other by the contract carriers housed in the switch enclosure.
