Uplift Restraint bearings:-   Uplift restraint bearings are specially designed to restraint uplift forces in the structure along with all standard features of bearings.

Features :The remarkable properties of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) are well known, notably its low coefficient of friction, non stick surface characteristic, wide working temperature range from -180°C to + 260°C. Excellent weathering resistance and corrosion resistance. Expanded PTFE unsintered tape makes from pure PTFE. It has an expanded network composed of superfine fibers and joints. The combination of flexibility, high longitudinal strength, and easy deforming ability in the transverse direction makes expanded PTFE unsintered tape very suitable for packing and thread sealing applications. But it is not suitable for use in certain critical applications, for example when contact with high concentration of gaseous oxygen or liqud oxygen is involved.

Features :Braided packing is made of different fibers according to different applications. There are packings made of carbon fiber, PTFE fiber, aramid fiber, glass fiber and mixed fiber of aramid and carbon fiber. It offers better lubrication, corrosion resistance, low abrasion and easy to inlay and dismount and it is widely used for pump and valves. Temperature -180°C - +200°C.   Applications :PTFE braided packing is used for the packing of pumps and valves.

It does not age.It has the lowest coefficient of friction of all known solid materials and a wide range of practicable temperature from -180°C to + 260°C.
