Ball Mechanism: Inside the valve, there's a spherical ball with a hole through the center. When the valve is open, this hole aligns with the pipe, allowing fluid to flow through. When the valve is closed, the ball is rotated perpendicular to the pipe, blocking the flow. Handle or Lever: MDPE ball valves typically feature a handle or lever attached to the top of the valve. This handle is used to manually control the position of the ball inside the valve. Turning the handle 90 degrees opens or closes the valve. Pressure Rating: MDPE ball valves are designed to withstand certain pressures depending on their size and construction. They are often rated for both water and gas applications. All valves are 100% factory tested with Nitrogen at 70 Bar or Hydro tested at 1.5 times of working pressure. Dust and thread caps are provided as standard.
