Corn stalks, corn cobs, wheat staw, and other leftovers from grain production can be used as feedstock in our biomass gasifier system.

Biomass gasification is a process of converting solid biomass fuel into a gaseous combustible gas (called producer gas) through a sequence of thermo-chemical reactions. The gas is a low-heating value fuel, with a calorific value between 1000- 1200 kcal/Nm3 (kilo calorie per normal cubic metre).

Gasifier structure: wholly water-jacketed structure, self-produced steam with a pressure of 49 Kpa can be used as gasifying agent and steam seal for probing fire. Feeding mechanism: bucket hoisting and manual double bell jar feeding mechanism is adopted which is easy to operate and can prevent gas leakage efficiently. Slag discharge mechanism: wet slag discharge is made from both sides with ratchet wheel and detent of hydraulic drive. For higher requirements multiple Units can be commissioned.                                                                  Gasification is a thermo-chemical process of cracking that converts solid waste, Biomass or coal to a gaseous fuel called “Producer Gas”. This producer gas is fuel for many different applications of shaft power or electricity in the equipment like, Internal Combustion Engines.  For thermal power in-  furnaces, kilns, dryers, Rolling mills and Heat treatment equipment. It is then subjected to washing & cooling by multiple shower washers & passed through the specially designed Tar, Sulphur & Dust separators & demoisturizer to be ultra clean for injecting directly into the I.C. Engines modified by us for Syn-Gas /Producer Gas mode of operation. We have Modified HFO based Engine to largest Producer Gas/Syn-Gas based Engine of 4 MW in the World. For higher capacities, multiple units in parallel would be used.   There are No Effluents & no environmental Gas emissions in the process apart from the Emission of Flue Gases & that also well under the Pollution control norms from the Exhaust pipe of the Generating set. The exhaust emissions of the Engine, can be used for a Waste Heat Recovery Boiler & close to 1000 Kg Steam at 7 Bar. pressure per MW per hr. can be obtained & also it can be put to use for other thermal applications.

Most biomass materials like Wood , Charcoal , Rice Husk etc can be converted into a gaseous fuel known as producer gas, which comprises carbon monoxide, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrogen. This gas has a lower calorific value (1000–1200 kcalnm3) compared to natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas, but can be burnt directly with high efficiency and good degree of control without emitting smoke. The producer gas flame temperature can be as high as 1100 oC. Each kilogram of air-dry biomass (10% moisture content) yields about 2.5 nm3 of producer gas. In energy terms, the conversion efficiency of the biomass gasifier process is in the range of 80%–90%.
