Serigas Bio Methane Production The Serigas methane production is based on a Microbe Incubated Bio Reactor (MIBR) which is designed to convert virtually every form of organic waste into Bio methane with a Methane percentage of 96 (+/- 2%) within a time frame of 10 to 21 days. Input volumes may vary from 10 % to 100% of capacity without impacting the performance of the Bio Reactor. The MIBR is highly modular and can easily be scaled to any desired processing volume. The MIBR uses up to 15 stages, each with their own mix of Microbes. During the implementation process, Serigas International analyses the type of waste to be processed and subsequently fine-tunes the Microbe types to be used in every stage. The crude gas outputed by the MIBR is post-processed to eliminate water, Sulphur and through a proprietary process, the CO2 output is recycled in the Bio Reactor to be methanized as well. The Biomethane so produced we call SERIGAS, which is predominantly methane with a high calorific value. The process also yields solid material in the form of an NPK rich fertilizer which can be sold at market rates. Finally, the process yields water which contains minerals and nutrients and nearly no organic material, which can easily be filtered for re-used in the industrial process.
