Ceramic Refractory insulated Strip heaters are sheathed in rust-resistance steel or in stainless steel sheath as it provide physical strength and good thermal conductivity. Specially selected and designed ceramic insulator houses the resistance wire insulating it from the outer sheath. Finned strip heaters are used for both forced (mounted in ducts) and natural convection air heating (mounted at the bottom of cabinet type oven). The fins provide maximum surface contact for good heat dissipation into the finned cross section thus resulting in rapid heat transfer to the air.

As heating elements in various process machines, ovens, driers, textile machines, dies, rubber machineries for heating & drying of air, liquids, solids, powders & moisture protection in control H.V. cabinets, for efficient baking curring of paints enamels, lacquers, varnish, adhesives etc.Construction : The sheathing is heat-treated mild steel or stainless steel or any other metal or alloy as per requirement. Insulating medium is either refractory or mica. The heater width is 1.11/2" to 2" but recommended widths & length are available. DIGUQAL’S Finned Strip Heaters are made of helically wound resistance coil evenly stretched and strung through series of ceramic insulators. Resistance coil is mechanically connected to screw terminals or lead wires for positive connection. The element assembly is electrically insulated and covered by metal sheathing. MgO (magnesium oxide) is used to fill and pack open areas surrounding the coils. The MgO material helps increase the elements thermal conductivity and dielectric strength. When a Ceramic Strip Heater is supported by mounting tabs, ensure that the terminal is secured firmly, and that the opposite end remains loose to allow for expansion. Do not over-tighten nuts when installing, as over-torquing terminals will create internal heater damage.
