Shuttle Conveyor is self propelled type. The whole conveyor & its support is mounted on wheels which can move to and fro to certain distance on a pair of rails. This conveyor is used where the conveyed material is required to be discharged at number of points but one after another, because it can be affected only at a time. Free movement of the rotor to an opened or closed position is assured by careful machining and alignment of the trunnion shafts and dust-tight bearings. Leakage in the closed position is prevented by close tolerance and double seal. Knife edges and “v” slots at the end of the rotor avoid sticking of packed material.
