Vibration Damper are mainly used to reduce stresses on Vibrating Conductor to avoid structural damage due to vibration on transmission lines. It is manufactured of Aluminum Alloy and Cast Iron Galvanized and the messenger wire is manufactured of High Tensile Galvanized Steel Strands duly Pre-formed and Post-Formed. These are manufactured as per ISS BSS ASTM and Customer specific specification.

Vibrations due to wind need to be "dampened" for overhead transmission lines. Stockbridge type vibration dampers are widely used to control these Aeolian vibrations to reduce conductor fatigue.

Vibration Damper is mainly used to reduce stresses on Vibrating Conductor to avoid structural damage due to vibration on transmission lines. Due to the wind, Overhead transmission lines will be excited to vibrations and oscillations that can lead to damage on the conductor of the overhead transmission line. In order to reduce these vibrations and oscillations to an uncritical dimension, damping systems will have to be installed in the overhead transmission line.

Pressure Relief Dampers will be provided in each OT to prevent cross contamination of air from clean and dirty areas. Suitably sized air pressure relief damper will be strategically placed, enabling differential room pressure to be maintained and ensure that when doors are opened between clean and dirty area. Counter-weight balancing system will be provided in the PRD to maintain positive pressure inside the operation room. Air pressure stabilizers will have unique capability of controlling differential pressure to close tolerance. The PRD will remain closed at pressure below the set pressure and should open fully at pressure only fractionally above the threshold pressure. The body will be epoxy powder coated as per standard BS colors. First class electrolyzed steel plate will be used for body and with high grade SS304 Stainless Steel for blades.
