Both ends are tube and the assembly is with ferruleweld nipple. The joint is made by assembly of fittings with ferrule. A weld nipple can be used instead of a ferrule when it is required to join two pipes of an equal size. Tube to tube (equal fittings) : these fittings are generally known as “stud” couplings. Tube to threads (malefemale) : during installation, when a swiwelend is needed to fit with a fixed line, a special swiwel nut is provided which can revolve around the body but will not disengage. Swiwel connections are also available. Tube to swivel : these are used for high pressure applications an provide a 360º rotation facility. These fittings are mainly used for positioning the tube fitting line. The perforated hollow shaped bolts directly on the end pass through the spherical union body for fluid transfer. To properly install and use a syphon with water and install the pressure gauge. The water will fill the lower half of the coil and will act as a protective barrier between the high temperature steam and the pressure gauge.
