These Rotators are designed to rotate cylindrical vessels of all types. Each set comprises of 1 drive and 1 idler unit. Standard Drive options: A.C. VFD Drive or D. C. Variable speed. Consrtruction of the MSCR Rotator is similar to that of the conventional type of rotators. Only the wheel mounting brackets slide on the bed by way of LH andRH lead screws. The Lead screw is rotated manually by a handle. The roller brackets move simultaneously towards each other or away from each other. IN the Drive unit, both the wheels are individually driven by separate motor and gearbox. Provided with ON/OFF in Auto/Manual mode. Reverse/Forward and inching facility in Manual mode with 10 M cable Pendant Control. Types of Wheels: Polyurethane / Steel Fabricated from heavy steel plates and with strongly welded sections, the pivot shaft housing and the bearing housings in the swivel brackets are accurately machined in one setting. The wheel shaft runs on heavy duty spherical roller bearings housed in swivel brackets. All the wheels in the drive unit are positively driven by a train of duplex chain or spur gears. The outer wheels in the swivel bracket in the Drive unit are fitted with clutches with liners meant for preventing breakage during loading and unloadfing of jobs on the rotator. Swivel brackets adjust themselves according to the diameter of the vessel. Centre axis of the job remains unaltered for all job diameters. Suitable for thin walled shells.
