ICD Temperature Scanner Model No. SCN525 is capable to measure and control the  Temperature  upto  16  points.  It  accepts  temperature  sensors  like  RTDs, Thermocouple, mV and mA signals  from Transmitters. The Scanner is completely user programmable  like High/Low set point control action, Auto/Manual operation, Channel grouping, Hold, Pause etc. The Scanner is a single board construction with the latest integrated circuit, so as to reduce  component  counts.  Fast  A/D  converter  is  used  for  quick  refreshing  of  all  the channels input and output. Digital Zero / Span calibration eliminates trim pot adjustments and settings are made  through key pad. Maximum 4  relay outputs are given  for Alarm & Trip controls. Channel grouping optional and control modes are programmable.The  Scanner  scans  all  the  channels  continuously  on  the  background  while displaying  and  generates  the  Alarm  &  Trip  outputs  after  comparison  with  respective settings. The Scanner has  two modes of operation:1. Operator Level and,2. Superior Level The operator level permits channel display selection in Auto, Manual, Hold mode and Alarm acknowledge. Whereas supervisory level access, Alarm & Trip setting, group configuration, output delay adjustments, channel pause  function, scan  time etc. Optionally, external relay box containing Max. 32 relays can be connected through serial  link. It has been designed keeping reliability, good appearence and easy maintenance in view. Well planned layout with plug-in type modular construction of PCB's reduces down-time.   "3116-M" is meant to Scan, Monitor and Control upto maximum 16-inputs Both, 'Auto' or 'Manual' channel selection facility is available. The channel inputs can be from RTD's or or Thermocouples. However, single type of sensors must be connected to all input. Bright, 7-segment LED displays give distant visibility of Temperature Reading and Channel number Alarm/Trip indications are indicated by LED lamps for each channel separately. Temperature is monitored with grouped relay outputs associated with individual LED indication. Setting can be adjusted independently over full span, for each channel. System is also available with single Set-point & Control OR without any Set-point & control. Front panel Keyboard provides 'user friendly' operation and programming facility with easily understood displayed prompts. A 'Memory Lock' switch has been provided at the rear so that unauthorised tempering with the set-points is avoided. Scanner (81216 channels) is available in Flameproof weatherproof housing, certified by CRMS, Dhanbad, suitable for gas groups I, IIA, IIB. Enclosure has clear glass for better readability. Hardware specification remains same for standard scanner.
