The valves ability to recover from the pressure drop is influenced by the geometry of the wafer-style body, the maximum flow capacity of the valve, and the service's ability to cavities or chokes. The valve is assembled by means of screws and nuts, the handle is fitted into the valve by means of a cap/block system and screw.Working principleThe valve is operated by means of a handle the handle mechanically locks the valve in its open or closed position. A disc closes against a rubber seal when the handle is at right angle to the pipe line.
