Digital Automatic Tap Density / Bulk Density Apparatus offered by us is designed to meet the requirements of USP Standards. This product can hold two cylinders and its capacity is 100 ml. The mechanism provides simultaneous rotating and tapping motion to the cylinders, which facilitates packing the sample under test evenly and uniformly together. The underlying principle in this density meter is Archimedes’ principle in combination with microelectronics technology. How does a digital density meter work? The main component of a digital density meter is a U-tube. The liquid sample is injected into the U-tube and is subjected to excitation. The frequency of oscillation is measured by a piezoelectric or electromagnetic sensor.The frequency and duration of vibration enable determination of sample density.
