The bulk density measurement is used for determining the weight per cubic meter of freshly mixed concrete (density of concrete) from which the yield of concrete per cubic meter can be calculated.Procedure for measuring bulk density of concrete is as per IS 1199 – methods of sampling and analysis of concrete.
