Conta Blender is used mainly for blending of dry powders for capsule plant, for blending and homogenizing of dried granules for tablet production. Safety Features The container locking arm has a proximity switch which prevents the drive to run unless the locking arm is proper locked. Unless the container is securely locked the drive won�t run. Entire working area of the blender is protected by a railing all around with a gate and single entry point for the bin in such a way that if the railing fencing is made to open the drive will stop immediately. Presence of the container in the lock area is sensed thus if container is not placed properly in the fork arm than sensor will not allow the blender to start. If blender stops due to powder shutdown than when you start it after resumption of powder the blender will run only for the remaining time and not total time. It is mainly used to blend and lubricate granular and crystalline ingredients.   Details : Shell : Consist of SS polygon shaped body with rectangular central portion and top and bottom polygonal frustum. The shell is provided with a rectangular full side opening at top and with air tight cover. Charging/Discharging : The circular opening is provided with a SS butterfly valve and a conical adapter to facilitate clamping of the charging drum in the raised position with the help of a mechanical remotely operated arrangement. The arrangement of conical adapter and charging drum for charging/discharging forms a closed system to make the operated dust free leading to better GMP. It the unit is provided without charging drum arrangement the butterfly valve can be replaced by a iris valve. Charging drum are of 100 litres capacity of 500 dia * 550 ht. A rectangular opening is provided for cleaning and locating the baffle during change over. Baffle : One number adjustable and removable baffle fitted diagonally inside the shell for faster and efficient blending.
