STANDARD
The transformers are manufactured in accordance with IS 202611977, IS:118011989 or as per customer's requirements.
VECTOR GROUP
Unless or otherwise specified, the transformers will be connected as per Vector Group reference DV 11 in accordance with International practice.
CORE
The core used is best quality cold rolled grain oriented and laser processed silicon steel sheet. They provide lowiron loss. low noise, compact size and have the best performance for high efficiency transformers.
WINDINGS
We use high quality conductor of copper/ aluminium in our products. Round or rectangular copper /aluminium wires / strips ribbed with thermally upgraded insulating paper are applied in oil immersed transformers. The winding have a compact size, excellent heat transmission, low load loss, high lightening impulse resistivity and outstanding anti-short-circuit strength.
INSULATION
Our oil-immersed transformers are insulated by electrical grade insulated press board as per IS : 1576 (1992) & thermally upgraded insulating kraft paper as per IS:1060
TAPPINGS
Tappings 01- 5% in steps of 2.5% or as per customer's requirement
OIL
Dehydrated EHV-Grade transformer oil as per IS : 335 (19931 with latest amendmentsis used for proper insulation and cooling after testing for all the parameters viz a viz resistivity, tan delta, Boy, neutralization. flash point etc.
BUSHINGS
HVILV Bushings : High quality porcelain bushings as per IS: 3347 are used on the high voltage terminals & low voltage terminals Optional bushing wells. inserts and elbows are available upon request. High voltage cables are inserted directly and show no live parts outside.
TANK
All tanks are assembled by cold rolled 1 hot rolled steel plates through welding. They are equipped with radiators or corrugated steel sheets in accordance with the capacity of the transformers. The interior surface of tank is cleaned by chemical and coated with oil resistant zinc chromate primer. Conservator, cable boxes, rollers. sealed /conventional type tank are provided as per the rating / requirements. All tanks are tested by applying high pressure & vacuum.
PAINTING
Alt the extemal surfaces are given a pnmary coat of red oxide and two finishing coats of grey paint. The inner surface is given a coat of oil resisting paint.

INSTALLATION
Our transformers can be installed indoor or outdoor. Special designs or special installation can be arranged upon customer's request.
TESTING
All the transformers are tested for all the routine tests as per IS : 2026 at our works with modern sophisticated, regularly calibrated meters through a centralized control panel. Dynamic short circuit and impulse voltage tests can be conducted at any Govt. agency if required and temperature nse test can be conducted at our works.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
After sales department the stringent testing of the finished product vis-a-vis guaranteed technical parameters is done with equipment procured from Riken. Larsen & Toubro. Siemens. Automatic Electric, Osaw, Rishab, Nippon etc. accuracy of readings and data derived from these readings confirm to technical parameters of the well designed transformers.
Quality control activity starts from the selection of most suitable raw material. Every material 1 component has in-house material specification to ensure reliability. The specification clearly indicates the characteristics and the tests to be carried out for verification of the quality and reliability of the selected raw material component. High standards of quality are achieved by thorough awareness of required standards.
