We are offering 6 pass wire drawing machine. model ak-wdm6 is a 6 pass drawing machine, designed for drawing gold and silver wire. The drawing process takes place through a series of draw plates with calibrated holes that decreasing by 0.1 mm in diameter the machine is composed by a sturdy metal frame that holds the motor, transmission, the cooling liquid tank, the unwinding reel, the motorized winding reel with adjustable clutch . This drawing machine comes with interchangeable steel reel winders for winding the drawn wire. The machine frame has a cast iron support, a metal base, and a heavy duty cast iron drawing roller. The winding reel has a plate-type clutch with ring gear and adjustable ring nut on the transmission that permits gradual start-up of the machine to prevent the wire from breaking. All of the transmission parts are mounted on bearings and have oil bath lubrication and a special filter applied to the scavenge pipe to permit recovery of metal filings. The machine also has safety guards and devices.

This pointed wire is inserted through the die of the first Wire Drawing Machine and fastened to a locking device on the drum. The drum is then started. As the drum rotates, the wire fastened to the drum gets pulled and coiled around the drum. Since the wire getting pulled is passed through the die having a higher inlet diameter and a lower outlet diameter, the drawn wire diameter gets reduced.     The starting end of the drawn wire is released from the lock of the first drum, is passed through the overhead loop and pulley provided, is brought down and is inserted through the die of the second drum and drawn through this die for further reduction. Thus, the wire is drawn through all the wire drawing drums of the set in a continuous manner to get the required finished diameter of the wire.     When the drum of the last wire drawing machine gets fully loaded with the drawn wire, the machine will be stopped to unload the finished material and then restarted. (If one opts for the continuous coiling machine, the drawing process will not have to be stopped for this purpose)     When the bundle of input rod finishes, the machine should be stopped. The end of this bundle is welded to the end of a new bundle of rod using the butt welding machine. Then the process is to be continued.     Also, in case of an accidental snapping of wire in between drums, the snapped ends are welded with the help of the butt welding machine and the process is continued.

The Blocks are manufactured from special quality cast iron. Die Box: Die Box Comprises of two separate compartments, one for the dry shop drawing lubricant, & another one for water cooling of the die. The box is adjustable in vertical & horizontal positions. Operator Controls :START-STOP Push Button, INCH foot switch, ON, OVER LOAD, GUARD OPEN indicators, etc. Guards:Machines have rear steel plate guard and also wire mesh guard provided covering the units from front. All mesh guards are electrically interlocked and when guard is open entire machine will shut down. Pull In Tong:Box type tongs with hardened jaws are supplied with each machine to cover the full range of wire sizes to be produced.
