The electronic position switch with six programmable switching outputs (each with one on and one off switching points) are available with numerous functions. The number of bits for multiturn operations, singleturn or multiturn ranges as well as the switching range inputs with invert option are programmable. They determine hysteresis values, counting direction and the unit, identification, last change and conversion factor.

FOC decoder modules convert optical FOC signals from the basic units of the universal encoders to electric signals and feed them on to other function modules of the U-ONE system. The fiber optic cables are connected via ST connectors, the supply voltage via a terminal strip.

The absolute encoder modules output the absolute position values of the shaft being monitored. Depending on the version they are suitable for PROFIBUS, CAN bus, Ethernet Modbus and SSI interfaces.
