Thermowells and protection tubes are used to protect temperature sensors such as thermocouplesand RTDs. It is selected in accordance with temperature measuring point conditions and desired measurement accuracy in a given application. It should withstand the temperature, pressure, vibration and shock for long, stable operation. Radix offers a vide range of BARSTOCK (monolithic drilled well of bar material) and FABRICATED (protection tube weld sealed at the end of drawn metal pipe) thermowells and protection tubes. Fabricated wells are used in low pressure applications and Barstock wells in applications subjected to significantly large stresses such as high pressure gases and high speed fluids, with suitably selected shape, size and material appropriate to the temperature and operating conditions.

Radix flameproof and explosion proof RTD sensors are made of robust die cast aluminum head with mineral insulation. They can also be made of cast-iron, SS304 and SS316. Our standard RTD sensors are certified flameproof for gas groups I, IIA and IIB. An assembly certified for gas group IIC (Hydrogen) can also be constructed.

Quality measurement and good equipment are very important parameter to achive Signal integrity. However, even with the best equipment, signals can be of inferior quality if the equipment is not properly installed or it is not protected by signal isolators / signal conditioners. Radix design competency in signal isolation is one of the finest to be found. Radix signal isolators are an outstanding combination of accuracy, frequency response and signal handling. Choose from loop-powered isolators which require no external power supply and have very low loop drops, 3-port signal isolators which not only isolate input signals, but also act as signal multipliers and multiply signals to send to multple field instruments. Some of our signal isolators are HART compatible for effortless two-way field communication, that is achieved through superimposition of digital communication on top of the 4-20 mA signal. Signal isolation devices are use to eliminate ground loop errors caused by noise (ground) and other such signal interference problems.  Signal isolators use one of many electronic methods to interrupt the connections between two grounds while passing the correct signal with little or no loss of accuracy. Without a way for ground currents to flow, these currents can't induce signal errors caused by ground noise.

Radix Mineral Induslated RTD sensors are made with compacted magnesium oxide (MgO) that make our sensors durable and vibration resistant. This range of products is widely used in industries like chemicals, food and pharmaceuticals. The measuring element in Mineral Insulated RTD can be designed in several configurations and conforms to the IEC 751 standard for RTD sensors. The sensors are made with weatherproof aluminium heads that protect the inner construction. Choose from our three ranges of multifunction programmable timers; Memory, Non-Memory and Cyclic Timers, that automatically operate a time-based process, counting upwards or downwards. Memory timers have non-volatile memory that stores process information even when the instrument is powered down, or in case of a power outage. Cyclic timers can be programmed for periodical counting. TC49SU is a mid-range programmable temperature controller; feature-rich and cost-effective at the same time. It accepts input from 8 types of thermocouples (B, E, J, K, N, R, S, T), Pt100 3-wire RTD sensors and optionally, 0 - 10 V DC and 4-20 mA or 0 - 20 mA linear inputs. A large LED display on the front of the temperature controller indicates the process value while 2 additional LEDs indicate the status of each of the two relays. Buttons on the front of TC49SU allow operators to easily program up to 2 setpoints for the process value. With an error of only 0.1% of full-scale value, this is a temperature controller of superior accuracy. TC49SU's two electromagnetic relays trigger heating, cooling or full-scale high and low alarms. It also retransmits an isolated current or voltage output signal to other devices such as a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or Solid-State Relay (SSR). Signal isolation protects your devices and machines downstream of our instruments from damaging fluctuations in the input signal. TC49SU is conventionally an ON-OFF controller that outputs a discrete signal, but can also be used in Time-Proportioning Mode which turns the actuator on and off for periods proportional to the desired control effort, to emulate a continuous actuator that can generate a control effort between 0 and 100%.
