The basket is used in conjunction with a suitable electronic balance, a specially designed robust frame to support the electronic balance and water tight container.The Density basket is of 20cm dia x 20cm high fitted with galvanized wire mesh of 6.3mm with handle for suspending it from the balance.   Optional Accessories: The following accessories are not part of the standard supply and are supplied at an extra cost.   Electronic Balance capacity 5 kg x 0.5gm / 5 kg x 0.1 gm with under bench weighing facility. Laboratory Oven. Water tight container.   A specially designed frame with moving platform to carry the water container allowing the test specimens to be weighed in both air and water.

It Determines Bulk Density or unit weight of aggregates. It consists of a Calibrated Cylindrical Measures of sheet iron with handles. Capacities available 3 litres, 5 litres, 7 litres, 15 litres & 30 litres. Complete with One Tamping Rod 16mm dia x 600mm long both ends rounded.

SAND REPLACEMENT METHOD: Three sizes Available.10cm (Small Size) :- Sand Replacement Method. Consists of Sand Pouring Cylinder, one calibrating container 10 cm dia & a square tray of 30 cm x 30 cm with a central hole of 10 cm diameter. Relevant Standard : IS : 2720(Part-XXVIII),15cm (Medium Size) : Sand Replacement Method. Consisting of Sand Pouring Cylinder container metal tray hole in the centre.20cm (Large Size) : Sand Replacement Method. with calibrating container of 250mm internal depth, one metal tray 450 mm square and 50 mm deep with a 200 mm dia hole in the centre.

Density Determination Kit is available in 2 types one to be mounted on the pan and the othertype is with attachment for weigh below the balance.
