The specific gravity of the fluid should be more than 0.6. Float is available in different material s.s.304/s.s.316/p.p./teflon etc. In this level gauge, the float is design as per the specific gravity of the liquid, floating on the liquid levels. This float connected to a pointer through rope via a sets of pulleys, the pointer slides over a cm marked board, installed parallel to the tank. For more than 3 metre height of the tank we provide two guide wires firmly anchored to the tank bottom. So that horizontal movement of the float is restricted. design feature : “flowtech” also offers vapour seal type float & board type level gauge which is generally used for tanks having corrosive fumes / vapours or n­2 [nitrogen] purging tanks. Simple principle of mechanics and magnetism harnessed to offer an absolutely safe, reliable and trustworthy level indicator for dangerous and toxic liquids under high pressure and temperature. As the liquid level rises in the tank, the float is lifted up due to buoyancy. The float carries a stem attached to it and on the other side of the stem a magnet is fixed. The float stem moves inside an SS enclosure. External to this enclosure is a glass tube, which carries the magnetic Capsule Design (Red & Black Colour) OR Rotating Roller Design. Due to magnetic attraction, the magnet on the float stem and the magnetic follower are coupled and move in union. As the float moves along with the liquid, the Capsule also moves inside the glass tube, and the position of the follower can be read against the scale.
