The INDION lamella clarifier provides an effective answer for the clarification of water and waste water. The lamella clarifier achieves solid-liquid separation by directing the liquid between a series of inclined plates called lamella. The settling surface of each plate is equivalent to its horizontal projection. Lamellae are normally spaced approx. 50 mm apart, with the result that large settling surfaces are concentrated within a relatively small floor area.

Coagulation and flocculation by controlled turbulence the pipe flocculator is a plugflow reactor in which processes such as coagulation, flocculator, demulsification, precipitation and ph control can take place under hightly controlled and well defined conditions. the above mentioned processes take place under turbulent flow conditions. At the chemical injection points the pipe diameter is adapted to ensure instantaneous mixing of chemicals and wastewater. Through the cross-section of a pipe the mixing intensity is virtually homogeneous. Reaction time is determined by the pipe length and flowrate and based on the exact requirements, no excess is required. In the plug flow reactor the process can be influenced at any time as opposed to tank reactors, where only one conditions per tank can be maintained.

Tube settlers and parallel plates increase the settling capacity of circular/rectangular clarifiers by reducing the vertical distance a floc particle must settle before agglomerating to form larger particles. This is based on settlement of colloidal particles by providing a larger surface area.Tube settlers use multiple tubular channels sloped at an angle of 60° and adjacent to each other, which combine to form an increased effective settling area. This provides for a particle settling depth that is significantly less than the settling depth of a conventional clarifier, reducing settling times. Tube settlers capture the settleable fine floc that escapes the clarification zone beneath the tube settlers and allows the larger floc to travel to the tank bottom in a more settleable form.
