The bonnet is provided with renewable seat arrangement. Flexible Wedge: The one piece, case flexible wedge minimizes stress concentration and assures tight sealing over a wide range of different operating temperature and pressure conditions. Body Seat Ring: The seat ring is welded to provide a bubble tight joint. Back Seat Arrangement: The back seat is designed to relieve back pressure on the stem packing when fully seated. Seating Surface: Gate valves can be offered with stellite seat, if specified. Stellated seat ring provides increased resistance to ware, abrasion and erosion of the sealing surface. Gland Arrangement: The stuffing box holds an adequate packing rings to enhance gland tightness and increases the life of packing rings.
