production process
step 1: harvesting
bananas are harvested according to export standards and transported back to the packing house to be handled.
step 2: post-harvest handling
wash with clean water.
soak in 0.02 ppm chlorine and alum solution 0.05 ppm to kill bacteria and prevent sap.
step 3: packing
bananas are packed as whole hands, part hands, or clusters in cardboard cartons with pe foam
step 4: stacked
cartons are stacked onto pallets for ease of pickup and delivery for transport.
step 5: storage and loading
bananas will be stored in cold storage at 13.5 degrees celsius and loaded in a container.
